Lord Huron Brooklyn Concert reviews
Almost Queen was GREAT!
"I have been eagerly anticipating a 'Queen' experience for a long time and Lord Huron did not disappoint. The band played all the hits which was exactly what I was wanting in a Queen show. I know the original Queen still tours at times, but I don't need to see Adam Lambert as the front man. An unexpected opening act was Black Dog - a Led Zeppelin tribute band. Not a fan of Zeppelin, even less so after the show. I don't know why it wasn't advertised that there was an opening act. Also, I have to add that I'm so sick of people with their cell phones at concerts. Can't your phone be tucked away for a couple of hours? Can't people just go to a show and enjoy it for what it is without having to record it? The person sitting next to us was obviously addicted to her phone, checking it every minute and also texting during the concert. Then having her light on when trying to take video. A few weeks previous we went to another concert where the artist did not allow photos or video. We need more of that. Didn't even do 'Stairway to Heaven', one song that may have appealed to non-fans like me."
